That is actually fascinating. My related fact? I wrote a novel where the main character had that exact problem. It was a weird sort of science fantasy. The idea was that dreams are produced in an alternate universe — ‘filmed,’ if you will, using actors and high-tech equipment, and transferred to human minds via this massive machine that can translate its contents across parallel universes. And the actor who starred in all of the main character’s dreams had to find a way to reach her.

It was a strange book. It had a million pacing issues and turned into a different story altogether.

Anyway, if you find this person, you must tell me! I’m emotionally invested now. :D
