i’m preeeeetty sure i’ve seen fluff and smut in sheriarty fanon and i can give you some good recs if you like, but you’re right, most of it is awful shit involving rape and violence. tbqh, i’m not sure if you’re frustrated about general fanon’s interpretation of your ship or trying to tell us that your otp shouldn’t have these things. i’d be happy to convince you differently on both points.

although, now that i think of it, i really can’t think of how fandom got the idea that non-con is ic for sheriarty or that sheriarty is violent. hmmm.. i can’t really think of anyone that could’ve given them this idea.

I’ve been meaning to write up my interpretation on this for a while now, so I’ll take this opportunity.
