I think we need to make a movement to show him that we don’t all hate him. That some of us actually respect him as a person and love his work.
I propose that we name it Moffat’s Warriors (as a homage to Watson’s Warriors). Just write things like “I support Moffat” or something like that.
I know that there is no way that I’m tumblr famous enough to get this out to a lot of people, and I don’t even know if this will become a thing, but I do hope it will. So please, if you want to join, do so, become a Moffat’s Warrior and reblog this post.

I, as much as the next person, enjoy a jovial fist-shaking in the direction of my favorite troll. But the point is that he’s my favorite troll. And you don’t let people act like a dick to your favorite anything, no matter what crazy shenanigans he puts you through.
I feel like the harassment Moffat has undergone in the past week or so is not at all representative of such an enthusiastic, generally fabulous pair of fandoms as Sherlock and Doctor Who. It’s a shame that we’re collectively coming off as irrational, and frankly, cruel. Not all crazy rabid fangirls have to be evil crazy rabid fangirls. Guys, we must use our powers of pure insanity for good.
Point: This is a man with brilliant talent who’s brought us innumerable pieces of fiction with clearly appreciable value. Time to pay it back by attempting to remedy what other people (who are not, might I add, “fans.” “fans” do not behave this way) have damaged.
Thus I bring you this goofy picture that should never have been created but hey the heavens saw fit to supply me with photoshop so.

Wow. Just finished watching JEKYLL, another Moffaty masterpiece. One standalone season, six episodes - roughly six hours total, so if you have a spare afternoon, check it out for sure. Basic idea: Tom Jackman, your modern Jekyll, has to contend with Hyde, trying to keep his dark side as divorced as possible from his wife and children. Meanwhile, he’s searching for answers about his condition, his past, and the Mysterious Organization that Knows More Than It Should, etc.
Every Sherlock fan should really see this one. There’s some truly brilliant writing in here, as expected - and although it’s altogether darker than Sherlock, it has the same cerebral appeal (and its share of delightful black humor). Make sure you’re ready for a lot more gore and cursing than the typical Sherlock episode, though.
James Nesbitt’s acting, too, is fantastic. Great character work. (Also, holla to Gatiss’s brief appearance! I was like, wait, is that …? MYCROFT GET OUT OF THERE)
I’m set on buying it now, but I wouldn’t do that on a whim. Definitely better to check whether it’s your cup of tea first. Here, treat yourself:
